Dashboard Overview

Upon logging in to Align you’ll be greeted by the Dashboard. Projects are loaded in order of most recently updated, indicating their current status and the languages featured within them. You can search for a specific project by reference, or filter based on status. Clicking on a Project Card will take you to the relevant Project. Projects can be created from the final card in the project grid, or by clicking the Create Project icon in the toolbar.

Project Grid

Projects are presented in a grid of summary cards in the main body of the view, ordered by most recently updated. Project Cards will load to fill the screen, with more Projects loading automatically as you scroll towards the bottom. A "Load More" button is also available if you would prefer to load more Projects without scrolling. A card to create a new Project is always appended to the end of the grid. If a Project has not been worked on for some time, try searching or filtering the view to bring it to hand more quickly.

Clicking a Project Card will launch the Project, or you can access the inline menu in the lower-right to view its Project Information, or delete it.

Toolbar

The Contextual Toolbar on the Dashboard features just one control to Create Project.

Search

The search filter can be identified by the magnifying glass in a small circle in the upper right corner of the view. Clicking once will expand the field allowing you to enter a search term. Results continue to be ordered by most recently updated.

The search will find Projects matching:

• Name
• Reference
• External Reference

Filter

Alongside search, you can filter the grid by Project status using the status pills, similar to the Project View. Select one or more statuses to filter your view — the grid updates to show only Projects matching your selection. Each pill displays a count of how many Projects fall under that status, and these counts update if you apply a search.

New

New or draft Projects, awaiting audio to perform initial alignment.

Error

Projects containing one or more phrases where a match could not be found.

Warning

Projects containing matched audio with unresolved warnings.

Matched

Projects with matched audio and no known issues, pending approval.

Approved

Projects with 100% approval, and therefore considered complete.

Ownership

You can also filter the grid by ownership to separate your own Projects from those that have been shared with you.

• All — every Project you own or that has been shared with you.
• My Projects — only Projects you own.
• Shared with Me — only Projects shared with you by others in your workspace.

Ownership filtering works alongside search and status filters, so you can combine them to narrow your view.
