Project Sidebar

The sidebar is the easiest way to see the status of the project, each of its scripts and navigate between them. Scripts can also be renamed and deleted right from the sidebar, and new scripts can be added. The sidebar can also be collapsed providing more room for your content. You can click on the Align logo or the grid icon at the bottom to return to the Dashboard.

Collapse/Expand

Click the collapse icon to collapse the Sidebar into the top left of the view. The project title and status will remain visible. The collapse icon will now be replaced with the expand icon. Click it again to expand the sidebar into its full column. The collapsed state is remembered as you move between projects.

Project Information

Clicking on the Project Name at the top of the Sidebar opens a popup panel displaying Project Information: Name, Key, Reference and Description. The Project Status remains visible. Click the "Close" button to dismiss the panel and continue working.

The current project status is indicated by a small wheel which fills as the project moves towards 100% approval, with the colour matching the current Production Status.

Scripts

Scripts are listed in the order they were added with each displayed in a summary card. Clicking on a card will expand its summary and load the script into the main content area.

Add a Script

You can add a script by clicking the "Add Script" control at the end of the list or by clicking the plus icon next to the "Scripts" title. Scripts can also be added from the Contextual Toolbar or the main content area when no script is loaded.

Each method triggers the Add Script workflow allowing multiple scripts to be added in any of our supported formats.

Rename

You can rename a script by first selecting it, so its summary card is expanded, and clicking once on its name. The title will change into an input field so you can make changes. Simply hit enter or navigate away from the field to save the changes.

Status

Each script has its own status indicator, a small wheel which fills as the Script moves towards approval. The colour reflects the current Production Status of the Script.

Stats

When a Script summary is expanded, three stats related to the current content are displayed:

• The number of Phrases in the script.
• The total length of Matched Audio.
• The percentage of Phrases which are currently Matched and Approved.

Delete

With the summary expanded, a Script can be deleted by clicking once on the bin icon, and then again on the "Delete Script?" confirmation.

Warning

Script deletion cannot be undone. All phrases, their status and any uploaded audio will be permanently deleted.

Other Actions

You can return to the Dashboard by clicking on the grid icon in the bottom left of the Sidebar. You can also launch the Export Composer by clicking on the share/export icon in the bottom right.
