Align

The voxANN Align application — a web-based quality assurance tool for audio dubbing workflows.

Approval

The act of confirming a matched phrase, locking the audio in place and progressing the script towards completion.

Audio Bin

A per-script collection of unmatched audio segments available for review, audition and manual matching.

Audio Segment

A segment of processed audio identified by its time in/out and transcript, either matched to a phrase or available in the Audio Bin.

Confidence

A score assigned to each potential match indicating the likelihood of desired alignment. Ranges from very high (auto-matched), to likely (warning). Actual thresholds can vary based on content and context.

Contextual Toolbar

A context-sensitive toolbar that presents controls relevant to the current view and its engaged content.

Dashboard

The main landing view after login, displaying a grid of projects ordered by most recently updated.

Export

A compiled output of project data including timing, transcripts, status and transcoded audio, available at any stage of production.

Phrase

An individual line or segment of script text representing a single unit of required dialogue.

Project

A top-level container for organising scripts, audio and exports for a given production.

Project Card

A summary card on the Dashboard representing a project, showing its title, status, reference and included languages.

External Reference

An optional identifier linking a project to an external system such as a business or project management tool.

Script

A collection of phrases in a defined language, representing the content to be produced for that language within a project.

Script Import

The process of extracting script content from a supported file format (Word, PDF or CSV) into a project.

Status

A production state derived from phrase-level assessment. One of: Pending, Matched, Warning, Missing or Approved.

Workspace

An organisational boundary for Align environments, supporting multiple users and collaborators.
